THE CANYON FFS COMMISSION

Ecole Française de Canyon (Canyon FFS Commission) is the education departmentfor canyoning of the Fédération Française de Spéléologie with the mission to promote safety and prevent accidents during the descends of canyons.

Number one goal of the Canyon FFS Commission is the creation of training actions for sensitize practitioners of canyoning as well as instructors and monitors. Following the evolution of the sport, ensuring the representation of the FFS and the relations with the other committees of the Federation,  helping structure decentralized committees for canyoning and developing canyoners to work on different aspects of the activity are the main core of management in the Canyon FFS Commission. Environmental protection actions are also an important aspect along with the dissemination of information to practitioners.
